Preliminary Information about the ASPET Washington Fellows Program
The ASPET Washington Fellows Program has been established to enable young scientists interested in science policy to become more involved in public policy activities. Several Fellows would be selected from among ASPET member applicants. Fellows will visit Washington, DC to meet with their Congressional delegation and liaison with their local district office too. ASPET assumes the costs of the Fellows Capitol Hill visits. Fellows will gain experience in science policy advocacy and also gain tangible career benefits too listing you as an ASPET Washington Fellow. Details are still being developed but we expect complete information and application procedures to be completed in the coming weeks.
