Advances in Cardiovascular Pharmacology
31st Annual Meeting, June 22nd, 2018
The Great Lakes Chapter (GLC) of ASPET will hold its 31st Annual Scientific Meeting on Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.
The goal of the 2018 meeting is to highlight major advances in the pharmacological understanding and treatment of cardiovascular disease, as well as provide an opportunity for students, postdoctoral fellows, and scientists working in related areas to learn about the field. The annual meeting of the GLC of ASPET also provides a forum of learning and exchanging of ideas in all fields of the pharmacological sciences and is a major networking event for biomedical scientists in the area. The meeting schedule includes:

Maps and Parking Directions
Public Transportation: Blue Line Shuttle
A shuttle service from the Forest Park CTA Blue Line station is available for employees and students. This free service is also available for GLC-ASPET meeting attendees. While shuttles rotate every 20 minutes, we will increase the frequency of services in the morning and the evening to meet demands. The route takes about 10 minutes each way, depending on traffic. Riders are picked up and dropped off at the CTA Blue Line Forest Park station, 711 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, and near the entrance to the medical school building at the medical center campus. Follow signs to the registration table or ask students with ASPET T-shirts. An App to track shuttles realtime is available.

Parking
Valet parking will be available to all attendees.
Attendees that preregister prior to the meeting will receive paid parking vouchers at the registration desk. For those that register on site, the cost for parking is $9.

In the morning, proceed to Center for Translational Research and Education, CTRE (#9 on this map). For registration on site, only cash and check will be accepted.
