    • Jim joined the ASPET staff in September of 1998. He serves as the primary staff liaison to the Committee on Public Affairs, and the Division for Integrative Systems, Translational and Clinical Pharmacology. Jim monitors legislation, policy statements, and government positions related to federal funding of research and other issues of interest to pharmacologists and identifies those areas where ASPET should be involved. In addition, he acts as liaison to other organizations supporting biomedical research. Jim is responsible for overseeing the ASPET-Merck Postdoctoral fellowships. Jim is the point person for ASPET activities related to herbal medicines, dietary supplements, ithe FDA, integrative and organ systems sciences, open access publishing, and any other developing public affairs topics.  Jim is a member of ASPET's  Senior Management Team.

    • Mary joined ASPET in March 2011 as Editorial Coordinator. Mary is responsible for managing the peer review process for Drug Metabolism and Disposition and Molecular Pharmacology.

    • Christie was named the ASPET Executive Officer in August of 1997. She is a pharmacologist by training and a member of ASPET. Christie oversees all the operations of the Society and is responsible for the business management of the organization.  She provides general staff support to all committees except Public Affairs and all Divisions except Integrative Systems, Translational and Clinical Pharmacology. She serves as the contact point for the SURF Programs, and for the Awards Programs.  Christie heads up ASPET's Senior Management Team.

    • Laine joined ASPET in November of 2009 to oversee the transition of accounting services from FASEB to ASPET and to manage accounting operations once it was brought in-house.  Laine has a BS and an MS in Accountancy from Wake Forest University and is a licensed CPA.

    • Rich joined the ASPET staff in March of 1998. As Journals Director for the Society, Rich is head of the Journals Department and is responsible for administrative, business, and policy aspects of journal management for ASPET's five journals. He also oversees all outsourced functions of the Society’s publishing program. Rich is a member of ASPET's Senior Management Team.

    • Jill joined the ASPET staff in December 2001.  She manages the centralized editorial office for Drug Metabolism and Disposition, The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics,  Molecular Pharmacology,and Pharmacological Reviews.  As Managing Editor for these four journals, Jill oversees the processing of manuscripts from submission through peer review and on to final decision.  Jill also trains ASPET’s editors and associate editors to use the Society’s online manuscript system.

    • Bobby joined ASPET in 2002.  He is responsible for processing new membership applications, maintaining membership records, dues processing and membership subscription billing.  Bobby is also responsible for customer service including updating member information, assisting new members with the application process, and responding to any membership questions and inquiries.

    • Pat has been associated with ASPET since 1989. Pat handles all billing and inquiries regarding page charges, manuscript handling fees, color charges, and reprints (including bulk orders) for The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, Pharmacological Reviews, Molecular Pharmacology, and Drug Metabolism and Disposition, and Molecular Interventions. Pat also processes permissions requests for all of ASPET’s journals.

    • Cassie joined ASPET in November 2004.  She is the Editorial Coordinator for the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, managing the journal’s peer review process to assure timely and accurate handling of all submitted manuscripts.

You must have your member number to activate your online subscriptions. Go to any of our journal websites (www.aspetjournals.org) and click on Subscriptions. Click on Activate your Member Subscription. Enter your member number where indicated and click Submit. Complete the page that follows.
