to Experimental Biology ’08 in San Diego, CA
April 5 – 9, 2008

The Award:
-
The sum of $1200 to
partially defray the costs of travel and subsistence.
Eligibility Criteria:
-
Doctoral degree received within the past five years.
-
Research interests related to pharmacology & therapeutics, as
indicated by the applicant's curriculum vitae and bibliography.
-
A member of ASPET in good standing (i.e. current year's dues are
paid).
-
First (and presenting) author of an abstract submitted for the EB
‘08 Meeting in San Diego, CA.
-
Must be an
underrepresented minority in the biomedical sciences as defined by
NIH (i.e. African American, Hispanic American, Native of U.S.
Pacific Islands, or Native American, including Alaskan Native).

Cannot
receive a travel award from another Experimental Biology sponsoring
society.

Type or cut & paste your abstract, CV and
bibliography into the spaces provided on the form. If your CV is
too large for the space provided, email it as an attachment to
travelawards@aspet.org.

The ASPET Office will contact your sponsor to
obtain his/her endorsement of your travel award nomination.
Terms
of the Award:

The check for the award and the award certificate will be presented at the ASPET
Business Meeting &
Awards Presentation on April 5. Attendance is required.

Application will not be reviewed nor award made unless the current
year's dues are paid.
