ASPET Division for Molecular Pharmacology 
Post Doctoral Scientist Award 
December 15, 2002 

    The Division of Molecular Pharmacology of ASPET is offering Post Doctoral Scientist Awards for EB ’03 in San Diego.  Awards will be based on the scientific accomplishments of the applicant with the major emphasis on studies presented at the meeting. In order to be eligible for such an award, a post doctoral scientist must be presenting a paper at the meeting and must be sponsored in this competition by a member of ASPET. Applicants who are members of ASPET may nominate themselves. To be eligible, applicants must be within 5 years of receiving their Ph.D. or M.D. and not hold a position of assistant professor or an equivalent independent position. Abstracts should be submitted to the Division of Molecular Pharmacology. 

     Awards consist of a grand prize of $500 and up to four (4) awards of $100 each to be presented at the Division Mixer or Business Meeting at the EB ’03 Meeting in San Diego.    

     Finalists for the awards will be notified before the meeting and should be prepared to make a 20-30 minute oral presentation during divisional programming, in addition to their regularly scheduled presentation at the meeting.
