The first official ASPET Poster Bingo at Experimental Biology that began Sunday April 22nd wrapped up on Tuesday April 24th in what ended up being another successful venture for ASPET’s Young Scientists Committee to help get more people interested in participating in poster session discussions.

It was very easy to play, all participants had to do was get a bingo card at the ASPET booth, walk up to participating posters, have a chat with the presenter about their research, and then receive one sticker that they could add to their bingo card. Once they had visited enough posters to fill one row full of stickers they could return the card to the ASPET booth before 3pm that day for a chance to win a $25 Starbucks gift card!

This year, our Sunday poster bingo winner was Elizabeth Esser, the Monday winner was Victor Ly, and our Tuesday winner was Cassio Rebecchi. If you did not get a chance to play this year, I highly encourage you to try it next year, it’s a great way to get to know what kind of projects other researchers are working on and maybe even make new friends!
