We are pleased to announce that the 2021 ASPET Fellows (FASPET) program is now open! This program bestows the highest honor of ASPET membership to members who have made meritorious efforts to advance pharmacology through their scientific achievements, mentorship, and service to the Society. Nominations (including self-nominations) are being accepted for the program through 11:59 pm ET on Friday, May 14, 2021.
Candidates should have some combination of the below criteria. The degree of contributions from each may vary from candidate to candidate.
- A scientist who has had a significant and sustained impact on the field of pharmacology in research or other areas that impact the field.
- Demonstrated commitment to ASPET (for example, through contributions to committees, editorial boards, scientific meetings, or other volunteer activities).
- Demonstrated commitment to mentorship, teaching, and diversity.
The ASPET Fellows program encourages nominations that reflect the breadth and diversity of the Society’s membership.
Use the ASPET online submission portal to submit a nomination. You will need a CV, two letters of support, a list of up to 10 individual whom the candidate has mentored, and other optional supplemental information. See more information on nomination materials.

The ASPET Fellows Review Committee will seriously consider all nominations. While the nomination process is open, being nominated does not guarantee selection as a Fellow.
