As the landscape of pharmacology research and our membership has changed, we need to remain flexible and strong. ASPET is committed to keeping pharmacology and our society at the cutting edge of biomedical research and education. ASPET seeks to maintain the highest quality of member service and delivery of essential benefits while ensuring our members have a solid professional home.

Accordingly, ASPET is excited to announce that we are embarking on a multiphase Business Development Strategy project, identifying areas where member and industry needs are not being met. This will continue to position ASPET as a leader in pharmacology research and provide long-term benefits to our members and the organization. Following a formal request for proposals, ASPET engaged Brewer Pratt Solutions to partner on this project.

This undertaking will involve the entire membership as ASPET seeks your feedback during this three-phase process that will include an online survey, focus groups, and interviews. Through these avenues, all members will have an opportunity to contribute their thoughts and impressions to help ASPET through this process.

Among the first and most important steps in this initiative will be an all-members survey to be distributed in early August. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of ASPET by telling us your professional and career challenges as well as how you envision the organization can better meet your needs now and in the future. The survey and your participation are crucial to the success of this feasibility study and business development initiative, and we look forward to hearing from you.
