Background

NYPS LogoThe New York Pharmacology Society (NYPS) is a regional scientific and educational organization founded in 2010 by Dr. Margarita Dubocovich and Dr. Peter Bradford of the University of Buffalo to serve pharmacologists at institutions and research organizations in upstate New York including the cities of Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany. This region supports four medical schools, four schools of pharmacy, two schools of dentistry, one school of veterinary medicine and numerous pharmaceutical and life science commercialization enterprises.  Scientists in geographically adjacent areas including Canada participate in the annual meetings and are welcomed to participate in all chapter activities.
