All meetings and events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
You must book your room through ASPET's registration website to receive the ASPET discounted rates at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and any overflow hotels. You cannot receive the ASPET discounted rates if you book through the hotel directly. Space is limited and additional hotels will be added once the Hyatt is sold out. Shuttles will not be provided between overflow hotels. ASPET will aim to book overflow hotels that are walkable to the Hyatt.

The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis is located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, 12 miles from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP). The Hyatt is dog friendly (for an additional fee). The hotel offers contemporary rooms with views of the city skyline and Loring Park. Guests can enjoy free internet access, a fitness center, pool, business services, and digital check-in/keys in their Scandinavian-inspired rooms. On-site dining includes the Prairie Kitchen and Bar, featuring new American cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner or the MPLS Market for quick menu options with a deli-style concept.

The Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is the 18th busiest U.S. airport and was recently ranked #4 on the list of 50 best U.S. airports by The Washington Post. It is the base for Sun Country Airlines and the second largest Delta Air Lines hub. MSP serves 130 domestic and 35 international nonstop markets. Explore the airport’s nonstop route map.
The airport is 12 miles from the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft service the airport. Rates vary depending on traffic and time of day but are estimated in the range of $30-$45 each way. The hotel does not offer shuttle service.
The pick-up area in airport Terminal 1 for Uber, Lyft and other app-based ride services is on Level 1 of the Green/Gold parking ramps. The pick-up area in Terminal 2 is on the ground level of the purple parking ramp.
For options using light rail on Metro Transit, view detailed information here: Light Rail Transit | MSP Airport. The METRO Blue line stops at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The closest downtown stop is at Nicollet Mall, about 8 blocks from the Hyatt. The fare is about $1-$2.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul area is serviced by Amtrak through Union Depot, a Lowertown landmark located 8 miles from the Hyatt. It is also a hub for local buses and light rail.
The Minneapolis light rail Metro Transit station (Nicollet Mall Station) is 8 blocks from the Hyatt and services downtown, the Mall of America, the airport, and St. Paul. From the MSP airport, take the BLUE LINE light rail northbound to Nicollet Mall Station (about a 24-minute ride). The GREEN LINE train also runs from the Nicollet Mall Station in downtown Minneapolis and goes eastbound to St. Paul.

The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis offers valet parking with in and out privileges for $52 over-night and $65 for oversized vehicles per night. The hotel also offers self-parking at $30 over-night on the Loring Parking Ramp, which is located next to the hotel but not operated by them. Cash is not accepted and payment is made upon exiting. For additional $7 per night, you can obtain in and out privileges. Tickets should be taken to the hotel front desk for in and out privileges. (Prices as of July 2025 and subject to change.)
