Welcome readers! PharmTalk is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Young Scientists Committee (YSC), which is now spearheaded by YSC members Tamara Escajadillo and Ibolya Rutkai, under the guidance of our Chair and fearless leader Karen Tonsfeldt as well as our great team at the ASPET office.

What will you hope to find while checking out our blog in the future? First off, we want to make this more centered around the people who help make ASPET great, by spotlighting young scientists that have contributed to our large array of ASPET journals, and conducting one-on-one interviews with them in order to provide further insight into their research and favorite beers! In addition, in the fast growing world we live in, the skillset that we have acquired as researchers allows us to have keen insight in careers beyond the bench. Therefore, we would like to introduce our readers to career opportunities that exist for young scientists beyond academia.
