A special section on the Drug Delivery Technologies is being planned for publication in the July 2019 issue of Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.

The submission deadline is December 20, 2018.  

Original research pertaining to innovative drug delivery systems and their emerging therapeutic modalities will be considered for this special section. Manuscripts describing efforts in applying innovative delivery technologies to drug repurposing, minimizing drug attrition rates in drug discovery program, reaching targets that conventional delivery systems cannot reach, or application of delivery technologies to drug-like compounds are highly encouraged. Research papers pertaining to novel in vitro/ex vivo, bioanalytical, or modeling approaches to characterizing the innovative delivery approaches may also be considered; however, such research articles without extensive in vivo characterization, preferably efficacy studies, need prior approval of the guest editor.  

Review articles addressing any aspects of the aforementioned topics will be considered as well; proposals for such articles should be sent to the guest editor, Ravi Kumar Majeti (mnvrkumar@tamhsc.edu), for approval prior to submission.
