A special section entitled “Breaking Barriers in Women's Cancer Treatment: Innovative Approaches and Experimental Therapeutics” is being planned for publication in the January 2025 issue of The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
Of significant interest are original research articles on women’s cancers including breast, endometrial, uterine and ovarian. The aim is to present high-quality, cutting-edge research in these areas. Prospective article topics may include:
- Characterization of novel targets and therapeutic biomarkers
- Pharmacological and experimental therapeutic studies of single or combination targets or agents
- Evaluation of novel or repurposed pharmacological agents
- Mechanism of action for a target or pharmacological agent
Please send a pre-submission inquiry, including title, full author information, abstract and significance statement, to The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics prior to full submission. The guest editor, Dr. Elizabeth Yeh will review these inquiries, respond to the authors’ comments and suggestions and assess whether final approval will be granted for a full submission.
The submission deadline is March 13, 2024, and all submissions must refer to the journal’s Instructions to Authors. There are no submission fees or page charges for publishing in this special issue, and accepted manuscripts will be published immediately online.
