We are pleased to announce that the 2020 ASPET Fellows (FASPET) Program is now open! This new program bestows the highest honor of ASPET membership to members who have made meritorious efforts to advance pharmacology through their scientific achievements, mentorship, and service to the Society. Learn more about the program and the 2019 inaugural class, who were appointed by the ASPET Council.
Nominations (including self-nominations) are being accepted for the program through 5:00 pm ET on Friday, May 29, 2020.
Candidates should have some combination of the below criteria. The degree of contributions from each may vary from candidate to candidate.
- A scientist who has had a significant and sustained impact on the field of pharmacology.
- Demonstrated commitment to ASPET, through contributions to committees, editorial boards, or scientific meetings.
- Demonstrated commitment to mentorship, teaching, and diversity.
The ASPET Fellows program encourages nominations that reflect the breadth and diversity of the Society's membership.
Use the ASPET online submission portal to submit a nomination. You will need a CV, two letters of support, a bio, and an optional photo.
Under the direction of Past President, Dr. John Lazo, the Fellows Review Committee will seriously consider all nominations. While the nomination process is open, being nominated does not guarantee selection as a Fellow.
