Pharmacology improves the lives of millions and offers researchers challenging, productive, and rewarding scientific careers. The American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) is committed to communicating the breadth of opportunities offered by a career in pharmacology. To that end, ASPET has recently updated the Explore Pharmacology booklet, to help undergraduate students better understand the exciting and dynamic field of pharmacology, its educational requirements, and the career options available to its practitioners. 

In addition to expanding Explore Pharmacology to include new areas of pharmacological research, we invited graduate programs in pharmacology to advertise in this booklet. Nineteen highly respected programs have provided information about their graduate programs to help students make more informed decisions about their career paths.

We invite you and your students to review Explore Pharmacology to learn more about this exciting field of research and to look through the educational and training opportunities from leading pharmacology graduate programs.
