Call for Symposia Proposals for the ASPET Annual Meeting at EB 2020

February 04, 2019

Dear DMDD Division Members and Colleagues,

We need your help to achieve our goal of making the ASPET Annual Meeting the place to discover and to present the highest quality, innovative science in pharmacology and experimental therapeutics.

As we start the year preparing for the upcoming EB 2019 meeting, it is also the right time to be thinking of your participation in EB 2020.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Division for Drug Metabolism and Disposition, we are soliciting topics for symposia to be presented at the ASPET Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology 2020 in San Diego, CA, April 4-8, 2020. These symposia present opportunities to highlight the most current and cutting-edge research from industry and academia. They offer a stage to present your research and promote scientific exchange as well as develop new research ideas.

The DMDD division is particularly interested in identifying high quality research from multidisciplinary themes that may attract participation from other ASPET divisions as well as other EB societies.  It should also be timely and have a broad appeal for DMDD division members and the larger ASPET audience. Topics that have been covered in the last three years can be found here:

While these topics are still relevant and current, we are also interested in emerging, novel topics that have not been covered in recent years at this meeting. All investigators from the DMDD division are encouraged to submit a proposal for a symposium.

To propose a symposium, submit your proposal by using the online submission platform. If you have division-based symposium questions, please contact me at xding@pharmacy.arizona.edu.

Please note that all proposals must be submitted by 5:00 pm ET on March 1, 2019 so that they may be reviewed at the ASPET Program Committee meeting at EB 2019 in Orlando.

On behalf of the DMDD Executive Committee,

Xinxin Ding, PhD
