We are excited to announce that The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics will promote an exemplary trainee author each month starting with the October 2019 issue. Starting on July 12, at acceptance, authors will have an opportunity to nominate a co-author who is an undergraduate student, graduate student, or postdoctoral fellow or to self-nominate for a chance to be selected as the Highlighted Trainee Author in the month their paper is published. 

Highlighted Trainee Authors will have their photo displayed on the journal’s homepage image carousel with a link to a brief summary on the ASPET website explaining their research interests and be further publicized through ASPET’s social media.
