Sneha Rathi is The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics Highlighted Trainee Author for the August 2024 issue. Rathi is currently a Senior Clinical Pharmacologist at AbbVie.

The JPET article that earned her the selection as a Highlighted Trainee Author is titled “Preclinical Systemic Pharmacokinetics, Dose Proportionality and Central Nervous System Distribution of the ATM Inhibitor WSD0628, a Novel Radiosensitizer for the Treatment of Brain Tumors” and is available at https://doi.org/10.1124/jpet.123.001971.

Rathi hopes her research will pave the way for new and more effective treatments for various types of tumors, addressing the current challenges in drug delivery and efficacy. By improving our understanding of drug distribution and pharmacokinetics of novel therapeutics, she aims to contribute to the development of therapies that can overcome the barriers posed by tumor biology and heterogeneity.
