Pharmacology Research & Perspectives (PR&P) received an Impact Factor of 2.052. This is the journal’s first Impact Factor. PR&P is an open access journal published by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, the British Pharmacological Society, and Wiley. Dr. Andrew J. Lawrence (Florey Institute of Neuroscience & Mental Health) is the journal’s editor-in-chief, and Dr. Michael F. Jarvis (AbbVie, Inc., Global Medical Affairs) serves as deputy editor.

PR&P began publication in 2013. Bimonthly issues present a range of article types, including original research, reviews, perspectives, commentaries, short reports, and case studies that address important topics in pharmacology. PR&P publishes papers submitted directly to the journal and those referred from supporting journals of ASPET, the BPS, and others.
