ASPET's Molecular Pharmacology journal is planning a new special issue to be published in 2025 titled “Emerging Voices in GPCR Biology: Spotlight on Early-Career Investigators."
This special issue will celebrate the top-tier research showcased by attendees of the 4th Transatlantic ECI GPCR Symposium, a free online event organized for early-career investigators by early-career investigators.
The symposium will cover key areas of GPCR research including structural and computational approaches, GPCR signaling and signaling partners, new tools and methodologies, the roles of GPCRs in health and disease and GPCRs as drug targets. The Molecular Pharmacology special issue will include original research aligned with these topics, a limited number of commentaries and consideration for mini-review articles.
Article proposals, including the title, abstract, significance statement and full author information, should be submitted as a pre-submission inquiry to Molecular Pharmacology. Special section guest editors Nicole A. Perry-Hauser and John Janetzko will view the proposals for approval before submission of the full article.
The submission deadline is December 6, 2024 and all submissions must refer to the journal’s Instructions to Authors. There are no submission fees or page charges for publishing in this special issue and accepted manuscripts will be published immediately online.
