ASPET joined a a multi organization letter urging Congress to:

• Finalize FY 2026 appropriations for NIH at the Senate Appropriations Committee-approved level and to include language that prevents the continued use of the multi-year funding mechanism;
• Continue the engagement with stakeholders to find an alternative to the arbitrary cap on facilities and administrative costs proposed by the administration; and
• Retain the current structure of NIH.
