Have you ever had a great project idea, but you needed the right collaborator to make it happen, or wished for a team to help take it further? Whether you're looking to contribute your skills, gain mentorship, or share your expertise, ASPET DPE LinkUp! was designed for you.
Inspired by the AAMC GEA MESRE framework, ASPET DPE LinkUp! is an initiative intended to foster collaboration, innovation, and scholarship among members of the Division for Pharmacology Education (DPE). It recognizes the collaborative nature of research and the vital role of professional networks in advancing high-quality scholarships, while building meaningful connections to amplify the impact of members' work.

How ASPET DPE LinkUp! Works
1. Submit a project idea – All members are invited to share project ideas for collaboration.
2. Refine your idea – The LinkUp! team will provide guidance to help project leaders sharpen their ideas or develop research questions.
3. Connect with collaborators – Once project ideas are finalized, ASPET will share the list with all members and open the call to join these projects.
4. Form your team – Project leaders finalize teams and can begin working independently.
5. Announcements & support – ASPET will publish announcements of project teams. The LinkUp! team will provide consultation and organize work-in-progress meetings to support projects.
6. Project outcomes – Teams will be encouraged to submit outcomes for presentation at the ASPET 2028 Annual Meeting.
