
British Toxicology Society-ASPET Global Scholar Program
What is it? A scholar exchange program where ASPET Toxicology Division will select one member to send to the British Toxicology Society annual meeting. The selected member is expected to give a talk at the meeting. The selected member will also have a networking budget which can be used to visit investigators and/or present research at regional institutions.
When: The British Toxicology Society meeting will occur April 27 – 29 2026.
Where: The British Toxicology Society meeting will take place in Solihull, England. Global scholars are also invited to network at universities and research institutions within the U.K.
Eligibility: Individuals meeting the following criteria are enthusiastically invited to apply:
- ASPET member
- ASPET Toxicology Division (current ASPET members can easily add Toxicology division to their membership to meet this criterion)
- Investigators who hold a PhD, MD, or equivalent (postdoctoral fellows and early career/established independent investigators) are encouraged to apply
- Willing to present your original toxicology research at the British Toxicology Society meeting

- Cover letter (optional, but can be used to explain how the experience would enhance the member’s career)
- CV
- Abstract (representing the topic of the oral presentation for the BTS meeting)
- A networking statement
- Addressing whether the member would like to network at universities and/or other research institutions within the UK
- And if so, which investigators and institutions?
Deadline: Applications should be received by August 29, 2025.
Review and Selection Timeline: Decisions are expected by late September.
