This symposium will review several aspects of assessment within integrated curricula. Speakers will detail unique practices at their own institutions regarding test assessment, curricular assessment, and rubric development. Participants will engage in best practices for developing outcomes, objectives, and exam items through self-directed development, peer-mediated feedback and group discussion. Participants will be able to: 1. Distinguish between outcomes (goals) and objectives. 2. Design outcomes and objectives using multiple levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy.3. Write and edit higher-level exam items. 4. Develop a rubric to assess application-based outcomes based on expected entrustable professional activities and other accreditation standards.
