Robert J. Lefkowitz of Duke University Medical Center and Howard Hughes Medical Institute has been selected to give the second Norman Weiner at on Wednesday, April 13 at 8:30 am during EB 2011 in Washington, DC. His lecture will be followed by a symposium entitled, "New Roles for Arrestins and Signaling, Trafficking and Disease," chaired by Jeffrey Benovic of Thomas Jefferson University.
The Norman Weiner Lectureship has been made possible by contributions from friends and colleagues of Norman Weiner, former President and Chair of the Board of Publications Trustees of ASPET. The first Norman Weiner lecture will be given on October 29, 2010 at the University of Colorado (Denver) by Dr. Salomon Z. Langer of Euthymia Ltd.
