To promote the works of early career researchers, the ASPET journals highlight one trainee author (an undergraduate student, graduate student, or postdoctoral researcher) in each issue to spotlight their research. Highlighted trainee authors are either nominated by corresponding authors or are self-nominated. The editors of Drug Metabolism and Disposition, the Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, and Molecular Pharmacology select a highlighted trainee author from the nominees.
